The Region 9 P-16 (Preschool through Grade 16) Council was formed to increase access rates and successful participation in higher education in North Texas.  The council will harness collaborative potential into creative, sustainable efforts that support and develop career and college opportunities for area youth.  The council consists of representatives from high schools, colleges and universities, area businesses and community organizations.
